Quality Control Process

First Star Technology’s quality control process includes in-house engineering and quality control management, with ISO9001 certified independent audits. We provide 'hands-on' assistance ensuring quality and efficiency with raw material purchase, overseeing in person our specialised suppliers where required and in-house production.

First Star Technology is part of the Idea Group and work closely with their partner company Idea Development's, a product design and development company based in New Zealand. Idea-NZ's team of product Design Engineers providing Design, Engineering, Quality Control (QC) Specifications and Guidance to enhance First Star’s quality assurance and control process.

Independent ISO9001 Inspection

At First Star all production orders undergo an independent ISO9001 inspection audit on completion. Independent (3rd party) supplier factory audits and quality inspections are provided via QIMA (Quality Inspection MAnagement), a European owned company originally established as AsiaInspectoin in 2005, and now operating in 95 countries with over 4,000 employees specialising in factory and product audits. Backed with ISO9001 certified quality inspection.
First Star have proudly used QIMA since 2010 as the go-to independent inspection agency.
