First Star Technology worked with the world leader in development of stormwater solutions and catch basin insert technologies to manufacture the EnviroPod LittaTrap - storm water filter. The LittaTrap helps to prevent stormwater pollution in the form of a fast/easily installed kit-set product. The LittaTrap is now an award-winning product and has been adopted across the globe to help reduce plastic waste and litter from reaching streams, rivers, and oceans.

First Star Involvement

First Star Technology role in the LittaTraps manufacturing and production involves working with several specialised suppliers as well as producing components in-house. Furthermore. First Star produced the required production tools, quality control specification, and is responsible for production assembly and packaging.
First Star provides the ongoing production supply around the globe shipping direct to the client's customers.

As part of the Idea group, First Star worked closely with the team of design engineers at Idea-NZ and StormWater360’s engineers, where Idea-NZ design engineers were deployed to First Star’s factory to setup manufacturing systems and establish quality standards and procedures.
